Not everyone who elopes to Byron Bay likes the feel of sand between their toes on their wedding day! After postponing their wedding from May due to COVID, Mandy and Chris were married on the grass at Hastings Point, because Mandy doesn’t like sand, and so their fur baby Axle could be witness to the ceremony.
Mandy, a vet herself, wanted to make sure Axle would be a part of their Byron Bay wedding. As no other humans were invited (Thanks COVID) Mandy and Chris hired a dog trainer from @downunderdogtrainer to entertain Axle during the ceremony.
Pausing to pose for a selfie to send to those humans who weren’t invited, after the ceremony, Mandy and Chris were blessed with an ah-mazing sunset that even shone with a giant love heart glowing in the background of one of their photos.
Mandy and Chris loved the location of their elopement so much they plan to return to celebrate their anniversary at Myocum at Hastings Point in 2021. We hope to see you then and hear all about your married life.
