Ellyn + Jack @ Broken Head, Byron Bay

Ellyn and Jack have known each other since school and decided to elope to one of our favourite locations at Broken Head in Byron Bay. Ellyn has been following Luxe Elopements on social media for a long time, which made us feel just like family on the day.  We were even lucky enough to share the experience of watching a pod of dolphins surfing the waves behind us, and an epic rainbow giving a touch of magic to our images on the day.

Choosing to get married with just two witnesses Ellyn and Jack’s ceremony was filled with laughter and fun, popping a bottle of champagne after the ceremony. We love when couples add their own personal touches to their elopements. Ellyn and Jack wanted Jack’s dad, who has passed away, to be a part of their special day so Ellyn carried some photos of him in her bouquet.

Ellyn was Rockstar bride breaking with tradition with gorgeous dark lips and was styled to perfection for the beach elopement with diamanté and pearl barefoot soles. Broken Head turned on the golden light for our portraits after the ceremony, Ellyn even venturing bravely into the water embracing the mermaid tail on her gown.
