CEREMONY – TEMPLE FARMHOUSE, BANGALOW
RECEPTION – TEMPLE FARMHOUSE, BANGALOW
24 APRIL 2019
Caroline and David connected through tinder, though very soon realised they were no longer going to need it. At first meeting their hearts were soaring, taken aback by each other’s beauty inwardly and outwardly they hit it off immediately and continued to spend 6 quick hours talking and uncovering parts of one another. Within their blissful 2 years together they have created an unbreakable bond, and a rewarding life style together and for them marriage is about continuing to nurture their deep love and spending the rest of their lives making memories with one another.
They chose to elope at the stunning and unique property, Temple Farmhouse in Bangalow. The property has an almost 360 degree view of rolling green mountains, a pool, edible flower gardens and a rustic/modern house. David invited his close family whom travelled from Ireland, and Caroline had a handful of her immediate family present. Everyone stood as the glowing Caroline walked the isle, and the afternoon sunlight melted orange through the sky as they exchanged vows and placed rings gently onto one another’s left finger. As the sun went down the chefs created food that sent delicious smells lingering though the house. Soft music played and pockets of conversation and laughter rippled through the house. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and beautiful elopemnent!
What does the commitment of marriage mean to you?
We see marriage as the next step in an exciting journey we’re taking together. We love each other deeply and want to spend the rest of our lives making memories.
How has your partner made you a better person?
Caroline: His discipline has rubbed off on me, I’m the fittest I’ve ever been in my life and that is in part thanks to Dave. He also makes me consider the wider world and not just my own small bubble.
David: I definitely chew my food more. Caroline ‘politely’ pointed out the benefits of chewing food as part of the eating process.
I would like to think that I’m more thoughtful and less reactionary than I was previously.
What are your greatest strengths as a couple?
We are identical when it comes to values, goals, determination and ambition. But on a deeper level we are also identical when it comes to emotional intelligence, how we show love and how we communicate.
