Luxe Elopements has curated the ultimate list of beach, garden and hinterland ceremony locations. We adore Byron Bay, Tweed Coast, Tweed Hinterlands and South Gold Coast.
These locations have been carefully curated based on our 10+years experience in the local wedding industry. We have taken into consideration the best light, privacy, logistics and accessibility for ceremony styling and the comfort of your guests.
IMPORTANT – these locations are council approved. You require a wedding permit to hold an elopement or wedding on council ground. We include this service in all of our packages!
Hastings Point, Kingscliff is on the Tweed Coast. A short 15mins from the Gold Coast airport. Dubbed the new “Byron Bay” it boasts picturesque coastlines, surf, trendy cafes, award winning accommodation and plenty of activities for your and your guests. Don’t get us wrong we absolutely adore Byron Bay but with millions visiting every year it can get busy with tourists and inflated prices throughout peak season. The Tweed Coast is a hidden gem! You can read more at Tweed Coast Guide.

Have you ever been to a headland that has truly taken your breath away? Broken Head Beach and the Three Sisters Track Headland in Byron Bay will do this! It is south of Byron Bay main town and away from tourists. It is Crown Land (Aboriginal land) and we respect this immensely. You can have your ceremony in the sand on Broken Head Beach (not the headland) and then walk the track for epic Golden Light portraits. If you are brave I LOVE taking my couples down to a private beach, kick of your shoes and get playful. It is free to have your ceremony on the beach (unlike Belongil or the Lighthouse which is around $350 for the wedding permit).
