How does it work?
Our Luxury Elopement and Micro Wedding packages are in Byron Bay, Tweed Coast, and Southern Gold Coast at Sunrise or Sunset at a beach or venue! Imagine your wedding day barefoot in white sand with sweeping ocean views, or on a 300-acre farm with rolling hills, under a waterfall or a Micro Wedding with your VIP’S at a gorgeous Airbnb!
We are able to offer luxury elopements with high-end vendors by servicing Elopements on Mondays to Thursdays with up to 25 x guests and our viral TikTok Micro Weddings with up to 30 x guests. This framework allows you to have all of the luxuries of a traditional wedding like lavish florals and an award-winning photographer!
We hate that we have to spell it out but it’s a HELL YES to Same-Sex couples! We LOVE working with kids (give me ALLLLL the babies and rambunctious toddlers!) and your fur babies!

I'm an 1985 baby who lives and breathes WEDDINGS, creativity, business and personal development. You'll find me most days barefoot amongst Mother Nature.
I moved to Byron Bay when I was 21 and fell in love with the energy and I was inspired by the creative entrepreneurial Women! I lived in Byron for 10 x years before settling on the Tweed Coast (cos who can afford Byron – haha) with my daughters Sophia (14) and Bella (8) and fur babies Rusty (King Charles) and Jackie (Labrador).
My superpower is connecting with humans and making people feel comfortable in front of my lens - kids, shy brides and husbands who hate photos are my specialty ;) I have a big, positive and fun-loving disposition – I have hand-picked a team who reflects my attitude and ethos. The key to success is to never stop learning, growing and leveling UP!

We created an award winning framework to make planning a destination wedding in Byron Bay affordable and effortless; all inclusive packages with vendor discounts build-in, online processes and exclusive planning portal with checklists, guides and expert advice. We handle all of the boring stuff like legals, council permits, witnesses, vendor coordination and contracts, wet weather backups and more; you can focus on the fun stuff like choosing flower colours and finding your dream dress!
The key to success in business is to CONNECT and LISTEN! I curated Luxe Elopements after 14 years in the wedding industry. Before "eloping" was cool, before the pandemic, before the cost of living and housing crisis. The sentiment was the same... we want a beautiful wedding without the price tag or guest list drama. My couples were trying to save for a house, travel, had blended families, wanted to start a family or were simply SHY! The average Byron Bay wedding at the time was $68K! That was BEFORE covid and the cost of living crisis - OUCH. You want the beautiful location, stunning florals, THE dress and epic photography... you don't want to invite Aunty-Jo's-Best-Friends-Cousins-Horse and you want the day to reflect your personal styled and taste! I discovered SJ whilst researching micro weddings and elopements online and after checking her socials and website we very quickly decided that we were not having anyone else!
... So many people commented how I was the most relaxed bride leading up to the day and how could I not be when SJ took care of everything. A team of carefully selected vendors , who are seriously INCREDIBLE !!!
...From the florals to the arbour and beautiful breakfast picnic it was everything we had envisioned and more, SJ and her super assistant Shari made our day simply magical. Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful well organised and just perfect our ceremony was.
SJ engaged with our guests , captured our most special and cherished moments and had sneak peaks up within an he of our ceremony and less than 12hrs after we had a gallery full of photos.
There is not one thing I would change or do differently about our day and I honestly cannot thank her or recommend her enough! Honestly, 5 stars is not enough for how amazing she was ! SJ you are incredible , your team is incredible and you made our day the most magical day that exceeded my expectations and they were already high from all the reviews and photos we had seen!

“Our experience with Luxe Elopements was the absolute best. If you want a small wedding with luxury-big-wedding vibes but you're time poor, not from the area or you just want none of the stress - THIS IS THE TEAM FOR YOU.
We booked the LUXE Micro-wedding package and had extra on-the-day coordination. We had such a relaxed day (and engagement/wedding planning) knowing SJ and the team had everything handled. From a Pinterest board (and a few extra phone chats) everything was pulled together better than we could have ever imagined (seriously we had absolutely dreamy florals).
The icing on the (wedding) cake is getting SO MANY sneak peeks so quickly (barely 24hours later for us) and getting to re-live the day over and over. Thanks for an amazing day.”

I was incredibly nervous in the lead up to our big day but they had everything covered and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. From the makeup artist, to the celebrant and musician, they calmed my nerves and made me feel so comfortable. I was honestly expecting there to be atleast one thing that didn’t go to plan on the day, but everything turned out exactly how I envisioned it, in fact it was better than I ever could’ve imagined.

“The most magical wedding fairies!!!! We eloped with Luxe Elopements a year ago and I'm only just leaving a review now.... Could you imagine how I'd go at trying to plan a wedding myself? SJ and the team did an absolutely phenomenal job and I barely had to do a thing - just put together a Pinterest board and filled out a questionnaire and somehow they created a ceremony better than I could have imagined. I have no doubt that if I wanted to have more input, the option was there to do so, however after seeing their work online I was comfortable leaving it all in their hands and was not disappointed. We were lucky enough to have Leisa who performed a ceremony that had everyone smiling and/or crying. We eloped with our immediate family and they all had a great time. SJ's photography captured the day beautifully (her photos which I saw online during COVID lockdowns in Melbourne were the real selling point for booking everything remotely) - memories we'll treasure for life, thank you 💕”

“We originally wanted to just sign some papers and be married already, but after speaking with one of the celebrants (Leisa) and checking out Luxe Elopements online, we decided that we would elope.
Luxe Elopements allowed us to finally tie the knot after being engaged for 9 years, 2 children later, and still have a beautiful ceremony with photography, flower arrangements, a bouquet and hair and makeup without breaking the bank! We would never have been able to organise all of this on our own for such an amazing price and we are still stunned at how amazing SJ and her team were. From the beginning we were well looked after, and their process is smooth, stress free and most importantly simple.
It was absolutely more than we could have asked for and we are beyond happy with everything. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. We honestly should have done this so much sooner had we known how easy and affordable it could be!
We didn't invite most family apart from my sister to help with out children, so when SJ sent through her sneak peak photos (which are beyond superb quality) within 24 hours we were over the moon and my family are all amazed at how beautiful the ceremony seemed and how wonderful the photos were.”

“My husband and I booked the Luxe package for 25 guests through Luxe Elopements for our wedding in November at Stonehill Estate and could not be happier with how everything turned out. Nearly everything was taken care of through our package, taking much of the stress out of planning our big day. We are not local to the area, so having access to Luxe Elopement’s list of contacts was priceless.
Everything turned out even better than we could have imagined, from my bouquet and florals, to our arbour, coordination and wedding photos. Our celebrant Leisa was amazing and put me at ease the whole morning before the ceremony. We added on extra coordination for the day and I’m very happy I did, we didn’t have to lift a finger and everything was run seamlessly.
